BHIND GIS

Bhind GIS is a digital system that facilitates the collection, storage, management, and analysis of geographic and administrative data at the district level, utilizing Geographic Information System (GIS) technology.

As part of an initiative by the Government of India and the Government of Madhya Pradesh, this system is being utilized within the state for the planning, monitoring, and effective management of development activities.

The Bhind GIS platform provides integrated access to various types of spatial information—such as road networks, drinking water supply systems, sewer lines, land use data, government assets, schools, hospitals, and other public infrastructure—all consolidated onto a single digital map platform.

The primary objective of this system is to assist the district administration in formulating accurate, data-driven plans, efficiently managing resources, and making effective decisions. Through GIS-based maps, various departments can easily visualize and analyze their data, thereby enabling them to implement development projects in a more effective and streamlined manner.
